Job Duties

  • Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods including grill, sauté and fry
  • Experience using knives and various kitchen equipment
  • Recreate recipes consistently
  • Maintain consistency on all food preparation
  • Minimize food waste through cross utilization
  • Collaborate with the culinary leadership team to create seasonal menus
  • Create workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meat
  • Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment
  • Ensure proper storage of all food items
  • Assume responsibility for the quality of ingredients
