The position open at The Chatham Inn is for a Line Cook, a critical role responsible for preparing and producing all menu items efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in similar position preferably in luxury setting
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Proficient in reading, writing, and oral English
- Willing to work flexible schedules including holidays
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others
- Ability to work in a high-pace and dynamic environment
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Pleasant, friendly, and helpful demeanor

Job Qualifications
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position preferably in a luxury setting

Job Duties
- Open up preparing and organizing the station and cooking all food necessary to start serving
- Prepare all items for sauces, soups, entrees
- Rearrange the line for cooking and service
- Prepare all orders as turned in and ensure all orders cooked quickly and according to order
- Learn menus, recipes, preparation, and presentation
- Ensure all food is stored in proper containers and at proper temperatures
- Cook only sufficient food in advance to cover expected business volume and maintain quality
- Prepare all food needed
- Prepare all food for next shift and for the following day as required and directed by supervisor
- Maintain work area including countertops, utensils, equipment and refrigeration clean and sanitary according to health and safety regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
