Committed to upholding the highest standards in hospitality, DKN Hotels provides a dynamic work environment supported by comprehensive training and development programs aimed at empowering its associates to succeed and grow in their careers.
The Line Cook position at DKN Hotels is a crucial culinary role reporting directly to the Executive Chef. This role focuses on the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and quality standards across various kitchen stations such as grill, sauté, fry, or prep. The Line Cook ensures that food is prepared quickly, safely, and consistently during service while maintaining cleanliness and adherence to food safety protocols. This position requires a minimum of one year of relevant experience, strong communication skills in English, and the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously under high-pressure conditions. Candidates must demonstrate positive interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively with team members, and a commitment to providing our guests with the signature "Home Away From Home" experience that DKN Hotels is known for.
The Line Cook plays an integral part in upholding the culinary excellence and operational success of the hotel's restaurant and food service departments. This position demands physical stamina and agility, including prolonged standing, frequent walking, bending, lifting, and safely handling kitchen equipment and cleaning agents. This role does not have supervisory responsibilities but does require independent judgment within the framework of company policies and procedures. As part of the comprehensive hospitality team, the Line Cook contributes to inventory management, waste control, and kitchen sanitation to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with health regulations. DKN Hotels expects this role to embody the company’s values of integrity, respect, and dedication to safety and security while delivering friendly and courteous service to guests and colleagues alike. Working in this fast-paced environment offers frontline experience in a quality-driven kitchen, providing opportunities for professional growth within the culinary and hospitality fields.
