This position offers more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to join an esteemed restaurant brand and embark on a rewarding career path filled with growth and learning. The role of a Cook at Ruth's Chris Steak House focuses on preparing, portioning, and cooking food items with the utmost attention to quality and presentation. As a Cook, you will be expected to handle various responsibilities such as measuring ingredients, seasoning accurately, and ensuring each dish meets the restaurant's quality standards. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring strong multitasking skills and the ability to maintain professionalism even during busy service times. Working at Ruth's Chris means being part of a supportive team that values collaboration, camaraderie, and mutual respect. You will have opportunities to develop your culinary skills through extensive training programs and career advancement options provided by the company.

Beyond the role itself, Ruth's Chris offers excellent benefits designed to support your well-being and work-life balance. Eligible employees can access health insurance when working an average of 30 hours per week, participate in a 401(k) plan with competitive matching contributions, and enjoy employee dining discounts. Furthermore, the company offers an employee assistance program to support mental health and personal challenges, paid sick leave accrued from the start, and paid family and medical leave after one year of service. A referral program also rewards employees who bring new talent into the family, demonstrating the company’s commitment to building a strong, engaged workforce.

This opportunity is open for both Sides or Pantry Cook positions, making it ideal for individuals who are passionate about culinary preparation and eager to contribute to a premier dining experience. The ideal candidate will be adept at preparing and dressing dishes with precision, skilled in using cutting tools safely and efficiently, and able to maintain a positive attitude while working well with teammates and guests.
