The Line Cook position at SSP America involves a vital role in the back-of-house operations. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
ability to stand for extended periods
must follow health and safety regulations
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
good physical stamina

Job Qualifications

ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions

Job Duties

Follow recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station daily
requisition and stock all required food, paper products, and condiments
handle, store, and rotate all products properly
set up, maintain, clean, and break down machinery and equipment
maintain stock, cut, and store perishables daily to ensure product quality
complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
take responsibility for quality of products served
perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor
other duties as assigned
