Job Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Minimum age of 18 years old
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Employment subject to successfully completing a background check and/or CORI screening

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of line cook or kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety
  • Ability to follow recipes and specs while maintaining consistency
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Inspect and clean food preparation areas, equipment, and work surfaces to ensure safe and sanitary practices
  • Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking quality, monitoring stock rotation, and maintaining proper storage
  • Regulate ovens, broilers, grills, and fryers to cook food at correct temperatures
  • Season, cook, and prepare food according to recipes and specs
  • Observe foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently
  • Portion, arrange, and garnish food for service
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients using proper kitchen equipment
  • Bake, roast, broil, fry, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods
  • Maintain prep lists, set up stations, and complete side work as assigned
  • Follow food safety guidelines and track shelf life of all products
  • Prepare all orders within specified ticket times while maintaining consistency
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, including mopping floors, taking out trash, and organizing linens
  • Assist with food prep and support teammates as needed
  • Answer employee or guest questions about menu items and ingredients
  • Demonstrate a positive team-oriented attitude at all times
  • Complete any other tasks delegated by management
