- Previous experience as a cook or culinary training
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques cooking methods and culinary terminology
- Ability to interact professionally with team members
- Strong organizational skills with food safety and sanitation regulations and practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members
- Willingness to work varied schedules including nights weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients including washing cutting and measuring according to recipes
- Cook and bake using kitchen equipment such as stoves ovens grills and fryers
- Ensure food is cooked to appropriate temperature and meets quality standards in taste texture and presentation
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on new dishes and preparing daily specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by properly storing ingredients and equipment
- Monitor and replenish inventory ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations including proper storage and temperature monitoring
