Currently, Kettner Exchange is seeking dedicated individuals for all Back of House (BOH) positions, available on a part-time or full-time basis. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role for lead line cook positions
- Ability to comply with COVID-19 sanitary guidelines
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks
- Must be team-oriented and able to take direction
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a line cook for lead line cook positions
- Passion for cooking and food preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Positive and professional attitude
- Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to menu specifications and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including new COVID-19 protocols
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist in inventory management and proper storage of ingredients
- Adapt to feedback and continuously improve cooking techniques and efficiency
- Ensure timely preparation and plating of dishes during service periods
