The company prides itself on maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, and safety, making it a leader in the entertainment and casual dining industry.
As a Line Cook at Main Event, you will play a crucial role in upholding the company's reputation by preparing delicious food that keeps guests coming back. This position entails more than just cooking; it requires a passion for ingredients, adherence to food quality standards, and delivering a consistent guest experience every time. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve upholding cleanliness and safety standards rigorously, prepping and cooking menu items in strict accordance with recipes, and working closely with the service team to guarantee food is accurate and delivered promptly. Adhering strictly to all food safety procedures outlined by the company and health authorities is a priority, along with operating kitchen equipment properly and safely. Maintaining a clean and stocked station before and after shifts and performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties are also part of your commitment.
Main Event values teamwork and requires its Line Cooks to work collaboratively with management, team members, and guests to foster a positive work culture. They seek individuals who are guest-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of performing their duties effectively under pressure. Being 18 years or older with Food Handlers Certification as required, and possessing at least six months of experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook, are essential prerequisites.
This is a fantastic opportunity for culinary professionals or aspiring cooks who thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment where they can grow and develop their skills. The company also supports internal promotion and offers a path for advancement, including opportunities to become a Certified Trainer. Main Event's supportive work environment emphasizes inclusivity and reward through various perks and benefits.
With competitive pay ranging from 7.25 to 15.75 dollars per hour, Main Event ensures its team members feel valued and motivated. In addition, benefits such as tuition reimbursement, discounts on food, beverages, activities, and unlimited game play, as well as paid time off and a rewards program, contribute to a balanced work-life experience. The company also supports team members financially through its Family Fund program during times of need.
