The role of Line Cook at Sodexo Live is a vital part of their food service operations, located at the Prelude + Post venue. This is a part-time position offering an hourly wage ranging from $21 to $23, with varying shifts during the day. Open availability is preferred, allowing flexibility to accommodate multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special or catered events. The Line Cook is a team-oriented role focused not only on preparing delicious, nutritious dishes but also on reducing food waste and delivering excellent customer service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0 to 2 years of related cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible, varying shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Open availability preferred
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
  • May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to reduce food waste and enhance customer satisfaction
