Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Job Qualifications
- Experience in professional kitchen environment preferred
- Good communication skills
- Well organized and sense of urgency
- Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen staff, and dining room personnel
- Ability to stand on your feet for 90% of the time
- Ability to reach, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
Job Duties
- Prepare variety of meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items according to Castle Pines Golf Club recipes
- Assist in food preparation operations for all food outlets of the club
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period
- Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
- Understand and comply consistently with Castle Pines Golf Club standards including portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
- Assist in food preparation assignments during off-peak periods as needed
- Report to shift on time and in proper uniform
- Perform related duties as needed including washing dishes, kitchen cleaning, and assist with any other projects as assigned by the kitchen manager
- Assist in other areas of the kitchen when needs of the business arise
