Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a professional kitchen preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in professional kitchen environment preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Well organized and sense of urgency
  • Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen staff, and dining room personnel
  • Ability to stand on your feet for 90% of the time
  • Ability to reach, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Prepare variety of meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items according to Castle Pines Golf Club recipes
  • Assist in food preparation operations for all food outlets of the club
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
  • Understand and comply consistently with Castle Pines Golf Club standards including portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Assist in food preparation assignments during off-peak periods as needed
  • Report to shift on time and in proper uniform
  • Perform related duties as needed including washing dishes, kitchen cleaning, and assist with any other projects as assigned by the kitchen manager
  • Assist in other areas of the kitchen when needs of the business arise
