This position is for a skilled Kitchen Staff member at Tanner's Prime Burgers, responsible for the preparation and execution of all menu items. The role demands a versatile individual capable of working proficiently at all kitchen stations, including but not limited to the deep fryer, flat top, and assembly areas. Employees in this role maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in their work environment, ensuring that all equipment is kept functional and in excellent condition through regular inspection and preventive maintenance. The position requires accountability for the quality of all products handled and a commitment to the restaurant's standards of food preparation and presentation.
As part of the role, the kitchen staff member must demonstrate superb multitasking skills, outstanding communication abilities, and the capacity to stay professional under stressful conditions. Clock management is important, as employees are expected to adhere to specific shift times including clocking in and out of breaks. Key tasks include food preparation involving the use of digital gram scales, deli slicers, knife work, cookie dough handling, baking, sauce work, and expediting skills for managing multiple orders simultaneously. Physically, the role is demanding, requiring the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as well as stand and move around the kitchen for the duration of shifts.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- High school degree or equivalent qualification preferred
- Outstanding communication skills and people skills
- Ability to stay professional in a stressful work environment
- Superb multitasking skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, sit and reach with hands and arms
- Close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus
- Willingness to follow all safety and sanitation protocols

Job Duties
- Capable of working all stations in the kitchen
- Maintains a clean, sanitary and safe work environment
- Communicates information to the Kitchen Lead whenever necessary, ensuring that information is disseminated through appropriate avenues
- Assumes 100% responsibility for the quality of the products that are handled
- Exercises proper clock management including clocking in shift, clocking out for 30 min break, clocking in break, and clocking out shift
- Ensures equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following preventative maintenance procedures
- Demonstrates interest and commitment to achieving company objectives in food quality and presentation
- Performs food prep tasks such as digital gram scale use, deli slicer work, knife work, cookie dough handling, baking, sauce work
- Operates deep fryer station including french fries
- Works flat top station including smashing burgers, griddling hot dogs, caramelizing onions
- Assembles and dresses burgers and hot dogs including tray presentation
- Demonstrates expediting skills by communicating and building multiple orders at a time
- Performs all other duties as assigned
