Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- willingness to obtain a Food Handler’s Card if not currently held
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- flexibility to work varied shifts
- passion for food and cooking
- basic knowledge of weights, measurements, and volumes
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals used
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus but not required
- ability to learn and follow recipes and menu items
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
- strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications
- plates prepared foods based on chef’s guidance
- responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
- assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils when needed
- uphold high restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards
