Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • willingness to obtain a Food Handler’s Card if not currently held
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • flexibility to work varied shifts
  • passion for food and cooking
  • basic knowledge of weights, measurements, and volumes
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals used

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus but not required
  • ability to learn and follow recipes and menu items
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
  • strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications
  • plates prepared foods based on chef’s guidance
  • responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
  • assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils when needed
  • uphold high restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards
