Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years of cooking experience for lead line cook role
- strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- good communication and teamwork skills
- willingness to learn and accept feedback
- previous experience in a similar type of restaurant preferred
Job Duties
- prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- adhere to health and safety regulations including COVID-19 protocols
- collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
- monitor inventory levels and report shortages to supervisors
- assist in menu development and daily specials preparation as required
- support training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff
