Job Description
Located in the vibrant culinary scene of Austin, Texas, our new restaurant at 4413 Guadalupe Street is seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join our opening team. As a soon-to-be established dining destination, we are dedicated to delivering a unique and memorable dining experience that blends innovative cooking techniques with a dynamic and engaging atmosphere. Our restaurant aims to foster a collaborative environment where every team member has the opportunity to contribute creatively and grow professionally within a supportive peer group.
We are currently hiring a Chef de Partie, a critical role within our kitchen brigade. This position offers 30 to 40 hours per week and a pay structure that includes a base rate of $7.25 per hour plus tips, guaranteeing total earnings between $18 and $20 per hour depending on experience. The Chef de Partie will be primarily responsible for standard line cook duties including prep work, managing a designated station, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Additionally, this role extends beyond the kitchen; the Chef de Partie will support front-of-house operations by performing food running, drink running, and bussing tables when needed. This multifaceted involvement ensures a seamless guest experience and helps foster teamwork across the entire restaurant.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant experience in a professional kitchen setting, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for cooking with an emphasis on maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene. A valid and up-to-date food handlers card is also required.
