The position open is for a part-time Line Cook, a critical role within the kitchen brigade. This role involves preparing, cooking, and plating menu items in an efficient and timely manner. Working in a fast-paced environment under the guidance of the chef, the Line Cook will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness at their station, following standardized recipes, and upholding food safety protocols. The job demands a versatile skill set, including multitasking and time management, as well as competency with essential kitchen equipment such as grills and fryers. This position requires the ability to take initiative during slower periods by identifying and prepping necessary ingredients or tasks independently. While teamwork and effective communication are vital on the line, the cook must also perform well autonomously when required.
