We are currently seeking Roast and Grill Cooks who are enthusiastic about food and committed to upholding the highest food safety and quality standards. This role is essential in crafting high-quality menu items that directly impact the guest experience. Responsibilities revolve around proper food handling, consistent food preparation, production, and station cleanliness. Every Roast and Grill Cook works with urgency and attention to detail to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes that meet Fresh Kitchen's exacting standards.
This position offers an hourly compensation range of $17 to $22. Job Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- previous culinary experience with a strong passion for food and people and good knife skills
- team player with a good attitude and works with a sense of urgency
- ability to read and follow written recipes
- reliable transportation to and from work
- ability to work in both hot and cool environments
- able to lift at least 20 pounds and frequently squat and bend
- self accountable in upholding high standards
- able to work in a fast-paced setting for up to 8 hours daily or as needed
- willingness to learn and develop
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification if not already certified, assistance provided to obtain
Job Qualifications
- minimum age of 18 years

Job Duties
- be an ambassador of the mission and core values and contribute to a positive work environment
- prepare high quality, fresh, from scratch food at high volumes
- follow recipes and adhere to food specifications ensuring quality and consistency
- maintain pars and counts of responsible items
- ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards to eliminate cross-contamination
- use kitchen machinery including knives, ovens, grills, gas stoves, food processors, and blenders properly complying with food safety and sanitation standards
- properly set up, break down, and clean your station to set yourself and other team members up for success
- perform additional responsibilities as requested at any time
