Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
  • Food handlers certificate required
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to commute to Los Angeles, CA 90039
  • Availability for day and night shifts and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Understanding of cooking techniques, food safety and kitchen operations
  • Food handlers certificate required
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Ensure all dishes are prepared to company standards, ensuring exceptional food quality
  • Follow all health department regulations and company food safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment by performing tasks such as washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash and ensuring proper food storage
  • Effectively execute complex recipes using advanced cooking techniques to create high-quality dishes
  • Work closely with the back-of-the-house team to ensure smooth service flow, timely food delivery and effective communication
