The Line Cook position at Golden Road Brewing is a critical role within the kitchen team, designed for individuals passionate about culinary arts and eager to work in a dynamic environment. The role is open to both full-time and part-time employment with a pay rate starting at $20 or more per hour, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes using advanced cooking techniques, ensuring each plate served meets the company’s high standards for quality and presentation. They must maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards, contributing to a safe and efficient kitchen operation. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
- Food handlers certificate required
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to commute to Los Angeles, CA 90039
- Availability for day and night shifts and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to company standards, ensuring exceptional food quality
- Follow all health department regulations and company food safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment by performing tasks such as washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash and ensuring proper food storage
- Effectively execute complex recipes using advanced cooking techniques to create high-quality dishes
- Work closely with the back-of-the-house team to ensure smooth service flow, timely food delivery and effective communication
