  • Ability to adapt and leverage emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence to improve efficiency, automation, and collaboration
  • Familiarity with local, seasonal, and sustainable food practices
  • Food safety certification or willingness to obtain

Job Duties

  • Prepares menu items according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation expectations
  • Sets up, stocks, and maintains assigned workstation to ensure readiness for service
  • Follows proper food handling, labeling, storage, and stock rotation procedures
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Assists with routine maintenance and proper care of kitchen equipment, communicating any issues promptly
  • Works collaboratively with culinary leadership and broader culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
  • Participates in team meetings and contributes to an environment of open communication, mutual respect, and inclusion
  • Engages in ongoing skill development and training opportunities to enhance culinary technique and workstation performance
  • Supports a positive work environment by demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
