This job posting is for the position of Line Cook, located in one of Red Robin's dynamic restaurant locations. The role is hourly and pays between $17.53 and $21.15 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. The Line Cook is a vital member of the kitchen team, responsible for preparing a variety of dishes following Red Robin's signature cooking methods and recipes. This includes cutting, sautéing, broiling, frying, and cooking meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, salads, and other menu items. The position requires adherence to strict food safety and cleanliness guidelines to ensure guests enjoy worry-free dining experiences. In addition to the competitive hourly wage, Red Robin offers employees a free meal each shift as a perk.

Job Requirements
- must be 17 or older
- legally authorized to work in the country
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- willingness to follow all health and safety regulations
- reliable transportation or ability to commute
- availability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous kitchen or restaurant experience is an asset
- knowledge of safe food handling practices
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- passion for food preparation and hospitality
Job Duties
- prepare food according to Red Robin standards including cutting, sautéing, broiling, frying, and cooking meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, and salads
- adhere to safe food handling and cleanliness protocols to ensure guest safety
- maintain an organized and clean work station throughout the shift
- collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and consistent food preparation
- receive and stock ingredients and supplies as needed
- assist with inventory management and waste reduction practices
- contribute to a positive and energetic team environment
