The Food Preparation and Cooking role at Chobani’s café is integral to maintaining the company’s reputation for exceptional customer service and high-quality food products. The individual in this role will be responsible for the overall preparation and cooking of food items within the café environment. This includes generating food prep in accordance with supervisory guidance, adhering strictly to Department of Health standards, and maintaining cleanliness through daily and weekly cleaning schedules. The role also involves stocking, rotating, and replenishing food items as needed, especially managing the walk-in inventory to ensure seamless service. One key responsibility is managing the yogurt line efficiently to create quality and consistent products tailored to each customer’s preferences.
In addition to culinary tasks, the role demands outstanding customer service when engaging with guests, ensuring a welcoming experience that aligns with Chobani’s brand values. This is a dynamic position that requires the ability to multitask effectively, work independently without constant supervision, and anticipate the needs of both the service environment and customers. The role offers a competitive compensation rate of $21.00 per hour and includes up to 60 hours each of accrued paid time off and flexible time off, enhancing work-life balance. This position is ideal for individuals with 1-2 years of relevant experience who possess strong communication skills and are passionate about delivering exceptional food and customer experiences in a fast-paced café setting.
