Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
  • ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
  • maintain good personal health standards
  • strong work ethic
  • must tolerate a casino smoke-filled environment
  • must be able to work all scheduled shifts including day, swing, graveyard, and holidays
  • must obtain Class III B license as required
  • pre-employment drug testing
  • Indian Preference in hiring applies

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • culinary training
  • two years experience in line cooking for a dinner house
  • experience in grilling, broiling, sautéing, and steaming
  • experience in training staff (preferred)
  • valid Washington State food handler’s card
  • ability to work on multiple orders simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner to order
  • assisting with prep work
  • handling routine daily cleaning
  • training new line staff
  • assisting with scheduling
  • coordinating cooking times with co-workers
  • contributing to superior guest service standards
