Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
- maintain good personal health standards
- strong work ethic
- must tolerate a casino smoke-filled environment
- must be able to work all scheduled shifts including day, swing, graveyard, and holidays
- must obtain Class III B license as required
- pre-employment drug testing
- Indian Preference in hiring applies
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- culinary training
- two years experience in line cooking for a dinner house
- experience in grilling, broiling, sautéing, and steaming
- experience in training staff (preferred)
- valid Washington State food handler’s card
- ability to work on multiple orders simultaneously
Job Duties
- Cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner to order
- assisting with prep work
- handling routine daily cleaning
- training new line staff
- assisting with scheduling
- coordinating cooking times with co-workers
- contributing to superior guest service standards
