Job Description
Fire One Kitchen Crew is part of Fire One, a uniquely restored 1934 firehouse located in Warrington, PA, which has been transformed into a dynamic event venue, local history museum, and food truck operation. This establishment blends rich local heritage with a modern culinary and community space, making it a cherished landmark in Bucks County. Fire One offers an engaging atmosphere where history meets hospitality, creating memorable experiences for visitors through private events, museum tours, and high-quality food service. The venue is well-known for its commitment to preserving local history while providing excellent food and event services.
The role of Line Cook at Fire One Kitchen Crew is a vital position within this fast-paced and multifaceted environment. This part-time position is designed for an experienced culinary professional who thrives in diverse kitchen settings, supporting breakfast, lunch, dinner, and various private events. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and executing a broad array of menu items spanning multiple cuisines, adhering strictly to Fire One’s detailed recipe book to ensure consistency and high-quality dishes. This role demands flexibility, as the cook will also assist with both on-site event services and food truck operations, requiring adaptability and efficiency under sometimes demanding conditions.
In addition to culinary responsibilities, the Line Cook must maintain rigorous standards of food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen organization. Clear communication with kitchen and event staff is essential, as is maintaining professional decorum when interacting with clients and vendors. The position reports directly to the Food and Beverage Manager and involves attending weekly team meetings to align with operational goals and enhance team collaboration. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, reflecting the value placed on skilled culinary expertise within the Fire One team. This role is ideal for a motivated, reliable professional committed to contributing to an innovative and historically significant venue while honing their culinary skills across varied food service operations.
