Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • ability to read recipes prep sheets and tickets in English
  • reliable transportation to and from work
  • previous kitchen experience preferred but not required
  • stamina to stand bend and lift up to 60 lbs in a hot fast-paced environment
  • comfort working around high heat fryers char-grills and slicers eighteen plus required for slicer use
  • ability to measure ingredients accurately by weight and volume
  • strong focus on food safety sanitation and HACCP standards

Job Duties

  • show up ready to play-arrive on time in uniform with a positive team-first attitude
  • execute chef-driven recipes with precision-prep cook and plate all menu items according to Walk-On’s standards
  • keep the kitchen clean practicing clean as you go to maintain safety sanitation and organization
  • handle high-volume shifts with hustle and composure
  • follow food rotation and labeling standards to keep ingredients fresh and safe
  • use proper portioning tools and scales to ensure consistent product quality
  • maintain and calibrate kitchen equipment including thermometers fryers and grills
  • assist with deliveries unloading stocking and rotating food and supplies
  • support teammates assisting wherever needed to keep kitchen operations smooth
  • take out trash break down cardboard and prepare kitchen for next shift
