Job Requirements

  • Relevant culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • State or county required food service license preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Capability to follow company SOPs and local health regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Passion for and strong knowledge of food and culinary techniques
  • Experience in a high-volume, full-service scratch kitchen
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Team player with consideration for guests and fellow employees
  • Organized
  • Understanding of genuine hospitality
  • Ideally have any state or county required license requirements for the service of food

Job Duties

  • Preparing high quality, timely food menu items for general service and special/private events to the exact spec provided
  • Completing items assigned on prep and portioning lists as outlined by the Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef/BOH Supervisor in preparation for service needs
  • Taking initiative to prepare general items (slicing and dicing etc.) for service to restock stations without the need for significant guidance
  • Adhering to all Company SOPs with regards to health and sanitation
  • Keeping work-stations clean, organized and inspection ready at all times
  • Cleaning and maintaining all small wares and equipment in the kitchen
  • Ensuring that set-up and break-down tasks are completed to standard
  • Ensuring that all local and state laws are followed as related to the service of food and the BOH facility in general
