Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferably in a restaurant or country club setting
  • strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • culinary degree or certification preferred
  • previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferably in a restaurant or country club setting
  • strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure

  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
  • collaborate with team members to ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet health and safety standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen including workstations, cooking equipment, and storage areas
  • assist with menu planning and development incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends
  • monitor inventory and ingredient levels, communicating any shortages to the kitchen manager or executive chef
  • follow food safety protocols including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
  • support other kitchen staff in various culinary tasks including prep, plating, and cleaning
  • participate in training and development opportunities to enhance cooking skills and culinary knowledge
