Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferably in a restaurant or country club setting
- strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications

- culinary degree or certification preferred
- previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferably in a restaurant or country club setting
- strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
- collaborate with team members to ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet health and safety standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen including workstations, cooking equipment, and storage areas
- assist with menu planning and development incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends
- monitor inventory and ingredient levels, communicating any shortages to the kitchen manager or executive chef
- follow food safety protocols including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- support other kitchen staff in various culinary tasks including prep, plating, and cleaning
- participate in training and development opportunities to enhance cooking skills and culinary knowledge
