Juke's Diner is a modern take on the classic American diner experience, known for its handheld comfort foods and signature Nashville hot chicken and waffles. This full-time, on-site Line Cook position is based at the Juke's Diner location in Lebanon, TN. As a Line Cook, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by executing food preparation in line with established streamlined processes. Your responsibilities include cooking to order, assembling dishes ready for service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Adherence to food safety standards and coordination with your kitchen team during busy service hours are also essential. The role demands a combination of speed, precision, and teamwork to consistently produce dishes that meet the diner’s high-quality standards. Pay ranges from $15 to $20 per hour, plus tips, reflecting the value placed on skilled culinary professionals within the company. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous line cook or related kitchen experience preferred
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment operation
  • experience with food safety practices and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organizational standards
  • ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
  • strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with team members
  • previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is preferred
  • passion for food quality and presentation, with attention to detail
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • culinary certification or training is a plus
