Job Description

Wingstop is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain specializing in delivering a unique flavor experience through its fresh, never-faked wings, hand-cut seasoned fries, and a variety of famous sides. Established in 1994, Wingstop has grown into one of the fastest expanding brands in the restaurant industry, driven by its commitment to serving world-class flavor that brings joy to customers across the globe. The company began franchising in 1997 and by 2002 had served an astonishing one billion wings. With a passionate focus on flavor, Wingstop continues to innovate and expand, maintaining a strong reputation for quality food and exceptional customer service. The brand appeals to customers who seek more than just a meal — they crave a vibrant and satisfying flavor experience that sets Wingstop apart from its competitors.

The Line Cook position at Wingstop is integral to creating memorable guest experiences by preparing and serving high-quality food with attention to detail and presentation. Line Cooks have a dynamic role that combines culinary skills, kitchen management, and customer interaction to ensure every order is freshly prepared and served hot. This position is available both full-time and part-time, offering flexible scheduling to accommodate different lifestyles and commitments. Compensation for this role ranges from $12 to $14 per hour, reflecting Wingstop's commitment to rewarding its team members fairly.

In this role, you will be responsible for cooking a variety of menu items that require short preparation times, operating large cooking equipment such as grills and deep-fat fryers, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in all food preparation areas. You will serve customers directly in some cases, handle orders, and work efficiently to deliver the exact number of items per guest order while managing multiple orders simultaneously. Wingstop values team members who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards in sanitation and safety.

Wingstop also emphasizes continuous learning and certification to uphold food safety regulations; therefore, Line Cooks are required to obtain Food Handler's Course certification or Serve Safe/Food Manager certification. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy being part of a team dedicated to flavor and customer satisfaction. By joining Wingstop, you contribute to a vibrant culture that celebrates culinary passion, innovation, and a guest-first mindset, making every dining experience extraordinary and flavorful.
