The role available is an entry-level kitchen team position at Flagship Restaurant Group, ideal for individuals who are passionate about food preparation and eager to develop their culinary skills within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Previous experience in professional kitchens is preferred but not mandatory, as candidates will receive extensive training tailored to equip them with the knowledge and skills required for success. As a critical team member in the kitchen, the individual will prepare and cook menu items to meet the company’s high standards for taste and presentation ensuring each dish served maintains consistency and excellence. The role includes responsibilities such as setting up and stocking workstations efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organizing the workspace to uphold sanitation protocols, and assisting with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating needs to management. Working collaboratively with fellow kitchen staff, this position requires a hands-on approach including physical activities like standing for long periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and walking throughout the shift. Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items to meet quality and presentation standards
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies for the shift
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed including proper handling storage and disposal of food
- Assist in inventory management including rotating stock and notifying management of any low inventory items
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace ensuring all areas are sanitary and ready for use at all times
- Work closely with other kitchen staff and team members to ensure smooth operations and timely food service
