Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior cooking experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including rotating weekends
- successful completion of background screening
- physical capability to handle kitchen tasks
- strong attention to detail
- commitment to food safety practices
Job Qualifications
- Experience cooking in healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living settings preferred
- knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- ability to work rotating weekends
- excellent teamwork and communication skills

- basic food safety certification or willingness to obtain
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties
Job Duties
- Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
- cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff
- ensure food is served simultaneously and in high quality
- maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
- follow food safety and sanitation standards
- assist with inventory management and stocking
- support team members in culinary tasks
