We are currently seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. This position demands an individual with both strong technical culinary skills and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Line Cook plays a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellent service and food quality by managing the kitchen’s cleanliness, preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to perfection, and ensuring food presentation is visually appealing. The ideal candidate will be attentive, patient, and carry a positive attitude at all times to contribute to an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities include organizing workstations, managing kitchen equipment, ensuring ingredient freshness, and overseeing food storage and stock orders. This role requires adherence to all IHOP standard operating procedures and hygiene standards, including holding an active Food Handler’s Card. Through this role, the Line Cook supports IHOP's mission to be a place where the shortest distance between two people is a smile, making every meal memorable for both our guests and team members alike.

  • Prior experience as a line cook
  • Skilled in operating kitchen equipment
  • Skilled in various cooking techniques
  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures
  • Showcase teamwork and communication skills
  • Showcase great organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and act quickly
  • Ability to follow all SOPs of IHOP
  • Have an active Food Handler’s Card

  • Maintaining a sanitized and well-organized kitchen
  • Preparing workstations for cooking
  • Preparing and maintaining kitchen equipment
  • Checking the quality of the ingredients for freshness and best used by dates
  • Preparing cooking ingredients using various techniques
  • Cooking food using various culinary techniques
  • Arranging food and ensuring appealing presentations
  • Manage food storage, stock, and ingredient orders
