Job Requirements

- Food handling certificate
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Good communication skills

Job Duties
- Prepare, season and cook menu and non-menu orders according to LodgeWorks specifications
- Clean and sanitize all work areas including kitchens, food preparation, dish washing, storage, and service areas
- Follow safe food handling and service practices
- Work closely with Sales staff to service guests, meetings, events, catering, restaurants and bars
- Maintain regular attendance and approach all encounters with a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Inspect and clean food preparation equipment and work surfaces to ensure sanitation
- Manage food freshness, proper storage and inventory levels
- Set up, clear and break down workstation
- Utilize kitchen equipment with adherence to safety procedures
- Identify hazards and report risks to management
- Control waste and maintain appropriate portion sizes to manage food cost
- Practice safe work procedures and comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
- Execute daily side work with motivation
- Assist management with additional tasks as requested
