Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food handler certification within the county of employment
  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to adhere to grooming and appearance standards
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Flexibility to fill in for absent staff
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare salads, pizzas, appetizers and pastas accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking according to recipe specifications
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including all kitchen equipment
  • Adhere to proper side-work duties, policies and health department requirements
  • Support team members and fill in for absent staff when necessary
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations
