With a growing reputation in the local community, the restaurant takes pride in maintaining high standards in both the kitchen and front-of-house operations. The culture at Wood Ranch fosters teamwork, culinary excellence, and continuous growth for its staff members, aiming to deliver memorable meals with every visit. The establishment operates with a focus on food safety, cleanliness, and adherence to health regulations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining environment for all guests.
The role of Line Cook at Wood Ranch is pivotal to the kitchen’s success and overall guest satisfaction. This position involves preparing all food items ordered through meticulous attention to Wood Ranch’s recipes and food safety standards. The Line Cook is responsible for their designated cooking station, including setting up, stocking, ingredient preparation, and cooking a variety of menu items to exact specifications. This role requires a hands-on approach to all culinary duties, including slicing, chopping, frying, broiling, and grilling. Additionally, the Line Cook maintains cleanliness and sanitation throughout their workstation and the kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment, utensils, and tools meet hygiene codes and safety regulations.
As part of the Wood Ranch team, the Line Cook will play a crucial role in supporting kitchen operations by ensuring efficient food preparation under pressure, proper storage and labeling of ingredients, and inventory rotation to maintain freshness. This position is best suited for individuals who thrive in fast-paced and sometimes stressful environments and are committed to working collaboratively within a team. Attention to detail, the ability to follow precise recipes and cooking standards, and a strong sense of personal hygiene are necessary qualities. Wood Ranch offers competitive starting wages beginning at minimum wage with increases based on experience, providing an opportunity for growth within a reputable culinary team. The schedule may require working late nights and unpredictable hours, reflecting the dynamic nature of the restaurant industry.
