Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of cooking experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong physical stamina to stand and lift heavy items
- excellent communication skills
- willingness to comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to train and lead kitchen staff
- dependable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of cooking experience in a fast-paced or high-volume kitchen environment
- previous leadership or trainer experience preferred
- strong working knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- reliable attendance and schedule flexibility
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Job Duties
- Lead kitchen operations during assigned shifts and ensure timely, accurate food execution
- prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and brand standards
- set up and break down stations efficiently for service
- support training and onboarding of new kitchen team members
- monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation
- enforce food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures
- assist with inventory checks, prep lists, and product rotation
