Job Requirements

  • must be 17 or older
  • able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to follow all safety and hygiene protocols
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong commitment to teamwork and guest satisfaction

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
  • basic cooking skills including knife handling and cooking techniques

Job Duties

  • prepare food according to Red Robin standards including cutting, sauteing, broiling, frying, and cooking meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, salads, and other ingredients
  • adhere to safe food handling and cleanliness rules to ensure food safety
  • maintain kitchen equipment cleanliness and organization
  • collaborate with team members to ensure food preparation meets quality and timing standards
  • assist in receiving and storing food supplies
  • follow recipes and presentation guidelines
  • manage food portion control and minimize waste
