Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior line cook or wok cook experience
  • Ability to work full-time hours
  • Strong physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform kitchen duties
  • Ability to comply with food safety and health regulations
  • Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a line cook or wok cook in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and practice portion control
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly and respectful demeanor toward customers and team members
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to health safety standards
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station on a daily basis
  • Requisition and stock all required food, paper products, and condiments
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
  • Responsible for set-up, maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of kitchen machinery and equipment
  • Maintain stock, cutting, and storage of perishables daily to ensure product quality
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
  • Take responsibility for quality of products served
  • Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products to meet health standards
  • Other duties as assigned
