This role offers both full-time and part-time shifts with competitive compensation at $19.00 per hour. Employees working with us also enjoy benefits including a free meal every shift, two weeks of paid time off (PTO), and immediate hiring with great opportunities for advancement. The role of a Line Cook at Mad Town Gastropub is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by executing recipes meticulously and maintaining the highest standards of food preparation.

You will maintain the kitchen or station setup daily, ensuring all necessary ingredients and supplies are stocked and ready for use. Proper handling, storage, and rotation of products will be required to maintain food safety and quality. You will be tasked with the set-up, routine maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of kitchen machinery and equipment, supporting the overall hygiene and efficiency of the kitchen environment.

Beyond food preparation, the Line Cook must maintain stock levels and manage the cutting and storage of all perishable items daily to uphold freshness and product quality. The role also involves completing opening, ongoing, and closing checklists to ensure the kitchen operations run seamlessly throughout the shift. Maintaining quality assurance and adhering to health standards by performing general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products is integral to this position.

The ideal candidate must be at least 18 years old with at least one year of line cook experience in a restaurant setting, demonstrating familiarity with the dynamics of a busy kitchen.
