Job Description

Cooper's Hawk is a distinguished dining establishment known for its Napa-style tasting room and wine-inspired retail environment, paired with a full-service restaurant, bar, and private event space. Offering a modern yet casual dining experience, Cooper's Hawk is a lifestyle brand that has been delighting guests since 2005 by bringing the Napa Valley experience to its patrons and Wine Club members. The Cooper's Hawk Wine Club is among the largest in the world, providing not only top-tier award-winning wines but also exclusive membership benefits including curated dining and travel experiences. Expanding its culinary reach, Cooper's Hawk has introduced Piccolo Buco, which brings the vibrant flavors of Rome to its growing audience. The brand is committed to crafting memorable experiences that blend exceptional food, fine wine, and genuine hospitality in a welcoming atmosphere.

At Cooper's Hawk, the role of a Line Cook is pivotal in creating unforgettable dining experiences. Unlike simply following recipes, Line Cooks at Cooper's Hawk craft every plate with precision, urgency, and pride, transforming high standards into extraordinary moments for every guest. This role requires not only culinary talent but also a connection to the guests through every dish served. As a Line Cook, you will be expected to prepare your station meticulously, manage cook times efficiently using the Kitchen Display System (KDS), and multitask to handle several dishes simultaneously. Taking ownership of your workspace's cleanliness, stocking, and safety is essential, as is maintaining strong communication with the team to keep service running smoothly. The position demands a genuine passion for cooking and a commitment to excellence that shines through every plate.

Being a part of Cooper's Hawk means more than just working in a kitchen; it’s about contributing to a team that values collaboration, communication, and the personal touch that makes every visit special. The company offers extensive benefits, including significant discounts on dining, carryout, and retail wine purchases, along with monthly wine tastings for two. In addition, team members have access to medical, dental, vision, and telehealth coverage, 401k with company match, paid time off, flexible work schedules, and early pay access. The wellness of employees is supported through mental health resources and ongoing wine and culinary education. Career growth is an integral part of the Cooper's Hawk experience, supported by their Flight Plan program, team member rewards, milestone recognition, and referral bonuses. This employment opportunity is ideal for those who are at least 18 years old, have experience in upscale casual restaurant kitchens, and a passion for delivering high-quality food with a team-first attitude. Cooper's Hawk is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing reasonable accommodations during the employment process.

Overall, the Line Cook position at Cooper's Hawk offers a dynamic, supportive, and growth-oriented work environment where culinary skills meet personalized service, setting the stage for memorable guest experiences and rewarding career development opportunities.
