Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- previous line cook or cooking experience preferred
- ability to lift, carry, push, pull pots, pans, etc., up to 50 pounds
- ability to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves
- mobility required during entire shift
- must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- previous line cook or cooking experience preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare menu items according to Famous Dave's recipes, plate presentations and specifications within cook time requirements
- read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by guest and prepare and cook food according to instructions
- operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, smokers, ovens, stoves, and dishwashers
- complete all assigned prep work
- practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times
- set up work station
- complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects
- be a core team member in a fast-paced kitchen
