Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask effectively

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
  • ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner during service
  • maintain consistency in portioning, presentation, and taste
  • follow all food safety and handling procedures
  • wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans throughout shift
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, floors, and workstations
  • take out trash and recycling as needed
  • assist with closing duties, including deep cleaning tasks
  • keep dish area organized and stocked with clean items
  • work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages
  • follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • assist with receiving and storing deliveries
