Known for combining the thrill of outdoor adventures with exceptional hospitality, the ranch offers guests a unique blend of nature, comfort, and impeccable service. Our ranch is dedicated to delivering memorable experiences through personalized service, stunning natural surroundings, and top-tier amenities. At Brush Creek Ranch, employees are more than staff members; they are integral contributors to unforgettable guest journeys, working within a collaborative environment that fosters growth and excellence. We pride ourselves on maintaining a supportive and inclusive workplace where creativity and commitment to quality service are highly valued. Our location in Saratoga, Wyoming, offers a remarkable living experience surrounded by national forest lands, where opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and fishing abound. The ranch also provides employee housing at subsidized rates, complimentary meals, and a suite of benefits that support a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

This position at Brush Creek Ranch focuses on cultivating culinary excellence and team leadership within a dynamic kitchen environment. The role involves mentoring and training kitchen staff, including Cooks III, interns, and stewards, while learning vital operational duties and supervising line shift production. The ideal candidate will develop skills across various cooking techniques such as sautéing, broiling, frying, roasting, butchery, and breakfast cookery, as well as knife skills and the proficient use of cooking equipment. This position prepares for an eventual supervisory role and emphasizes adherence to food safety standards, including the rigorous application of HACCP guidelines and health department regulations. Responsibilities include managing food and labor costs, scheduling efficiently to minimize overtime, inspecting food quality, and fostering a positive and cooperative work environment. Additionally, the role involves assisting with the logistics of moving supplies across multiple ranch venues and operating ranch vehicles.

Employees can expect to join a team that values communication, collaboration, and a high standard of excellence. This full-time or seasonal role offers compensation up to $18.75 per hour with a guaranteed 10% end-of-season bonus. From day one, employees receive medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits along with paid vacation and paid time off that can roll over. The position also includes a 401(k) plan with company matching after one month, unlimited referral bonuses, and numerous employee engagement activities.

Working at Brush Creek Ranch means embracing a lifestyle intertwined with nature, adventure, and professional development within a supportive and fun atmosphere. With employee discounts on travel, hotel stays, dining, and entertainment, plus multiple growth opportunities across the ranch network, this job is ideal for someone passionate about food, hospitality, and the great outdoors, seeking a fulfilling career in a unique setting.
