Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years' progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing for long periods
  • Must be reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years' progressive experience in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environment
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain food quality standards
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to participate in professional development and culinary courses

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the line cook station
  • Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs
  • Assist in maintaining kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with culinary team members to deliver outstanding dining experiences
  • Participate in onboarding and training programs including online culinary courses
  • Adapt menu preparation based on seasonal trends and resident preferences
