The company prides itself on fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and professional growth, providing ample opportunities for career advancement within the hospitality industry. With a focus on quality ingredients, creative menus, and community engagement, Atlas Restaurant Group is a leader in the regional dining scene, emphasizing sustainability and guest satisfaction.
The Line Cook position at Atlas Restaurant Group is an integral role within the culinary team, designed for experienced cooks who excel in high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environments. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for executing the full cooking process following assigned recipes meticulously to ensure consistency and exceptional quality in every dish prepared. Duties include preparing and measuring ingredients, grilling, frying, broiling, baking, and sauteeing various menu items while maintaining attention to detail in taste, seasoning, and presentation. You will be required to manage your cooking station independently, ensuring it meets established sanitation standards and that all products are properly rotated.
This role offers an opportunity to refine existing culinary skills and acquire new techniques, with the possibility of mastering multiple stations such as Grill, Sautee, Fryer, or Garde Manger. Working alongside a passionate and supportive team, you will also participate in developing new menu items, contributing creativity and expertise to keep the offerings fresh and exciting. The position demands adaptability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to perform under pressure, ensuring that food is prepared efficiently and to the highest standards.
The Line Cook role is available across multiple states, with compensation varying by location: Maryland positions pay between $15.00 to $27.00 per hour, Delaware from $13.25 to $25.00 per hour, Pennsylvania $15.00 to $22.00 per hour, Florida $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, and Texas $15.00 to $20.00 per hour. Full-time employees working over 30 hours weekly are eligible for comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k contribution, company-paid life and AD&D insurance, learning and development programs, mobility and advancement opportunities, pet insurance, and a 25% discount at Atlas properties. Part-time employees also have access to several of these benefits, ensuring support regardless of employment status.
Joining Atlas Restaurant Group as a Line Cook means more than just a job; it offers a path to becoming a valued member of a fast-growing company that is deeply invested in the Baltimore community and the professional development of its team members. You will work directly with ownership and senior management, gaining mentorship and support as you grow your culinary career. The company encourages personal accountability, teamwork, and emotional intelligence, cultivating a respectful and productive workplace where employees can thrive. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who are passionate about cooking, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a successful and innovative restaurant group.
