Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalency
  • minimum two years experience as a cook preparing full line menu items
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to multitask and stay organized in fast paced environment
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • proof of annual tuberculosis clearance in accordance with state regulations
  • must be available to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • prepare food in required quantities while meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • oversee and manage food production in the absence of kitchen leadership
  • maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • communicate effectively and collaborate with team members
  • prepare special diets including low-sodium, diabetic, and texture-modified meals
  • ensure compliance with state health regulations including annual tuberculosis clearance
