Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- ability to stand for long periods
- physical capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- strong attention to cleanliness and food safety standards
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- must have an understanding of cooking stations and cooking techniques
- must be able to handle utensils and equipment safely
Job Duties
- Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in a clean restaurant issue uniform
- ensure assigned station is properly stocked, clean and ready for service, restock as needed
- finish assigned prep work as directed
- prepare, cook and plate dishes and menu items in a timely basis in accordance to established Carmine's standards
- attend all scheduled employee meetings, tastings and trainings
- perform cleaning of prep areas and maintain kitchen organization
- comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures
- assist chefs with additional duties as required
