Ugly Dumpling is a renowned restaurant dedicated to delivering exceptional Asian-inspired cuisine with a unique twist. The role of Line Cook at Ugly Dumpling is a critical position within the kitchen brigade. This full-time or part-time position, reporting directly to the Culinary Manager, involves preparing and executing menu items with consistency, speed, and precision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the establishment's high standards for food quality and presentation while ensuring every dish meets customer expectations. Working 20 to 40 hours per week in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment, the Line Cook will play a key role in contributing to memorable dining experiences and upholding the reputation of Ugly Dumpling.

A successful Line Cook must possess strong knife skills, be proficient with various kitchen equipment such as woks, steamers, grills, and fryers, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. The job requires adherence to safety, sanitation, and health guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment. This position also demands effective communication and teamwork as the cook will work closely with other kitchen staff to deliver flawless service. The ability to handle special requests, assist with prep work, and support team members during high-volume shifts is essential. Additionally, the role includes participation in pre-shift meetings and performing opening and closing kitchen duties.

Job Duties
