We are currently seeking dedicated Line Cooks to join our dynamic culinary team. At Cooper's Hawk, the role of a Line Cook goes beyond simply following recipes; it is about creating memorable experiences for every guest, one plate at a time. Line Cooks work in a fast-paced, upscale casual dining environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked station, following established recipes to ensure consistent portions and flawless presentation, and effectively using the kitchen display system to manage multiple dishes concurrently. The role requires a balance of technical cooking skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members to keep the service flow smooth and efficient.

In addition to culinary duties, Line Cooks are expected to take ownership of their work environment, stepping in to support the kitchen whenever necessary and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Six months or more of line cook experience in upscale casual restaurants or similar
  • Strong knife skills and basic cooking knowledge
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Team first attitude and passion for high quality food
  • Able to stand and move for long periods, lift 50 pounds, and work weekends or holidays
  • Ability to read, understand and communicate in English

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more of line cook experience in upscale casual restaurants or similar
  • Strong knife skills and basic cooking knowledge

Job Duties

  • Set up your station for success and keep it running smoothly through every shift
