Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a line cook or similar kitchen role
- Ability to work flexible day or evening shifts
- Ability to stand and operate in a fast-paced kitchen for extended periods
- Capacity to follow detailed instructions and maintain cleanliness
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others
- Physical stamina to handle kitchen duties
Job Qualifications
- Excellent emotional self awareness under pressure while maintaining a respectful, warm presence
- Curious intelligence to continue learning in the position
- Knowledge of various culinary procedures and methods including grilling, baking, boiling
- Good sense of taste and smell
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
- Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Follow and fulfill the duties given by the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, or senior line cooks
- Keep stations clean and well stocked with the ingredients required to cook the dish that they are asked to prepare
- Enjoy providing great hospitality
- Work efficiently in a team environment
- Prepare dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Maintain a safe and sanitary workspace
- Assist in inventory management and quality control
