The restaurant is currently seeking a Lead Line Cook who will play a pivotal role in managing the kitchen line like a brunch boss. This position is designed for someone with hustle, heart, and heat—ready to own the line and contribute to an exceptional guest experience without any unnecessary fuss. As a Lead Line Cook at Hash Kitchen, you will have the opportunity to work within a passionate team that values a fun and positive work environment. Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience cooking in a restaurant
- Understanding of cooking methods and procedures and skill in knife handling
- Ability to perform tasks with precision, speed, and attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow cooking instructions
- Must be organized and self-motivated
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work full-time hours including weekends
- Ability to comply with health and hygiene regulations
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop, and kneel
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- 4+ years of Line Cook experience preferred
- Be a multitask master in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to recreate recipes per Hash Kitchen standards
- Knowledgeable about food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness
- Willing to go the extra mile to create the ultimate guest experience
- Knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products carried by the restaurant
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized Hash Kitchen recipes
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- Safely utilize a variety of utensils and kitchen equipment, including knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established Hash Kitchen guidelines
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Adhere to Hash Kitchen safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
