Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience cooking in a restaurant
  • Understanding of cooking methods and procedures and skill in knife handling
  • Ability to perform tasks with precision, speed, and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and follow cooking instructions
  • Must be organized and self-motivated
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work full-time hours including weekends
  • Ability to comply with health and hygiene regulations
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop, and kneel

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • 4+ years of Line Cook experience preferred
  • Be a multitask master in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to recreate recipes per Hash Kitchen standards
  • Knowledgeable about food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness
  • Willing to go the extra mile to create the ultimate guest experience
  • Knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products carried by the restaurant

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized Hash Kitchen recipes
  • Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
  • Safely utilize a variety of utensils and kitchen equipment, including knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
  • Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established Hash Kitchen guidelines
  • Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
  • Adhere to Hash Kitchen safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
